Hermann's Tortoise Help

Thanks to everyone who made suggestions in my quest for finding a good tortoise to buy. As you may have inferred from my subject, I decided on a Hermann's Tortoise. He should be arriving from Central Florida Reptile Farm on Wednesday. I now need help with some general care info for him. I am going to build him a 2'X4' wooden box with 12 inch high walls tomorrow. From reading various postings etc, I have a decent idea of what to feed him. However, from all of the reading I've done, I haven't been able to determine this is a turtle that requires a lot of humidity or not? And as far at heating, what temperature does his box enclosure need to be? What type of heat source would work best with a wooden enclosure? Any other suggestions or tips such as types of plants to use etc., substrate, and other general care would be greatly appreciated as I prepare for his arrival.
