For those of you who don't make it over to the Field Collecting Forum, my wife and I saw 3 Gopher Tortoises in an area where they are not in much danger from human interaction last Sunday. We did not touch, molest or impede them in any way other than to crawl up to them to take the attached photos. It was great to see these guys in an area that is unlikely to be bulldozed in the forseeable future.
