Never heard of a Russian Blue Tortoise. The regular Russian tortoise is Testudo horsfieldi. There are subspecies.

They are reportedly not too big on eating grass. My four russians prefer green leafy items like dandelion (also the flower), plantain (common yard weed), clover, collard greens, small amounts of carrot and squash, romaine lettuce (not much - it's not a great food), endive, etc. No iceberg lettuce, and very little fruit - maybe a little apple. Supposedly tortoises from dry or desert regions don't encounter much fruit and aren't capable of digesting all that sugar.
