Russian tortiose

I was given what was supposedly called a Russian Blue Tortiose. On all the web there are only two sites that even mention this guy, this site and one in Japanese. So because I don't speak Japanese, I need more information. Someone named Holly wrote about them. I would like to know the exact species and how to care for them. I have been feeding it like a "sulcata", because photographs match them the most:Bermuda grass mostly with some colorful greens and fruit mixed so "his" attention is got. I live in Tucson Arizona but keep him inside because it gets so hot here in the summer. I need more information about this guy so I can give him the best care possible.
