My Desert Tortoise has "slippery" feet!

One of my adult female Desert Tortoises has hind feet that have become very "slippery". The bottoms of her feet are so smooth that it's become difficult for her to climb her not-very-steep outdoor-carpeted ramp to her condo (poor spoiled baby!)and even sometimes just walking on the grass or patio concrete. What's up with that? Besides finding little-tiny golf shoes for her, does anybody have any ideas on what to do?
