i'm not sure how you're housing your tort, but your original post said something about the only animal in the house that could have laid them. is the tort indoors? i ask because ej said as long as all the needs are met SHE will lay the rest of the eggs if in fact there are any more. problem is, if the tort is inside it probably doesn't have access to dirt in which to dig and lay the eggs. if she has no dirt she may very well retain the eggs because she feels she has no suitable place to lay. if she's inside, put her outside and she'll lay. if she's outside already disregard this whole post. good luck.
