I was under the impression she has never been with a male. It is very possible the eggs can be fertile if she was with a male at one time. The odds are against you though. The fact that she is actually nesting though is good. No vet trip needed.

: She already laid 2, she broke one. I built her a nesting box, with hay, and potting soil. She has stayed in there for the past 24 hours. She won't eat, (she might nibble occasionally) she is like in a trance (like sea turtles) she can get in or out anytime she wants. Someone told me they could hold sperm for 10 years, so they might be fertile. I don't know if the previous owner bred her or not, I wish I could find out. Maybe I will be a grandma!!
