Teddy has never urinated when picked up or anything
else, he's completely used to us and comes to my
hand when I wiggle it to pick him up. We just
got back from a car ride out to look at how
construction is going on our new house, and he
didn't do anything in his carrier except walk
around a bit until he decided it was less bumpy
to lay down! lol

Work with yours, always gently, and pick him up
to do "good" things, like before feeding, or
getting outside. Hopefully this habit/reflex
will stop. Maybe someone who has had one do this
can tell you more, but I know other animals do
this also and the technique is about the same,
stay calm, don't react to it (by putting him down
instantly for example) just say sweet things and
make your hand and getting picked up an association
with positive things. Mine gives kisses even
(eskimo style). Again, he's really tame from lots
of time spent with him. good luck! niki
