: hi,
: i have a 3 yr old pair of russians, and as you may remember from past problems i have had a few problems in that the male is bigger than the female and is dominant over her, which has stressed her out in the past. i have extended their run and this seems to have helped a bit. however, i noticed that someone here in the uk has a 6 yr old female for sale. my question is this: would it be better if i sold my small female and got a large female. would this eliminate the dominance problems, or would the male then just get stressed out? also, my female has a blocked nose. i cleared this with the eye of a needle, but it gets blocked again quickly. this causes her a lot of discomfort. any ideas what will clear it?
: thanks,
: karl
take your female to the vet so they can take care of the problem. question are you planning on breeding them or not? if you are then keep yoyr smaller one and buy the larger one. i wold like to breed my female but i'm waiting until i have more room for them. by getting another female it should lessen the stress on the smaller one. i hope this helps brian m
