The plastic saucers are just about 3' across, I got them a couple of years ago.Luckily I didn't have to buy the huge plastic plant pots too. We have to lift Angel up to put her in it though.
But we very rarely soak her, only once or twice a year.
The sulcatas don't use their drinking saucers, ( smaller ones)but will soak in puddles created by the sprinklers, or sit and let the sprinkler rain on them.
I don't water the back yard during the day, but the sprinklers in other areas hit small spots in the back yard. The sulcatas take advantage of that, my juveniles sometimes sit for about half an hour with the water raining down on them.
The juveniles still get soaked every 10 days or so, and the toothbrush job on their rear ends.
