Yes, I am a real vet. Sorry if my post didn't make sense, it was from a much earlier post in which someone was advised when putting two of the same breed together to "quarantine" one for around 6 months. You are right about mixing species, though, that is not good. I am talking about the same. Sorry for the mix up!
