Hello all,
I need some advice concerning my 2 tortoise`s that are both 2 years
old. They are greek tortoises, 4 days ago i put them in their hibernation
box in the cellar, the trouble is they show no signs of hibernating, they are not as
active as usual but are always awake when i go to check them. What should i do
ive followed the instuctions from a good tortoise book, unfortunately it does not tell me what to
do in this case. Could it be that it is too warm? at present the temp is about 14-15 centigrade
My vet told me to bring them back up and put them back in their tank, and wait untio it gets colder
so i have done that, when should i try again? they have acess to water but no food, is this ok. Any
help or advice would be gratefully recieved, i realy want to do whats best for these lovely creatures.
thanks Keith
