When He slowed down and completely stopped eating on Sat I got extemely worried... so

I had to take my little guy to the vets yesterday
HE had a vitamin A deficiency and was dehydrated, probably because he wasn't
eating.
so they gave him some fluids, some caloric supplement and a boost of vit A -
I think he is going to pull thru this.
He was a sick little dude.
but he seemed better when I brought him home.
I took stool samples in, but I don't know if they were able to use them since they were Sat. He was checked just a few mos ago for parasites and they found NONE. So...

I have to go away this weekend and I am going to board him at the hospital.
That way if something goes wrong, they can deal with it immediately.

I REALLY like this vet - she seems so knowledgeable about reptiles and so do
her assistants.
Keeping this guy healthy seems to be expensive, but the hospital's prices
are competitive and
I trust them.

Just thought I would keep you updated.
Thanks for caring you guys!
Leslie
