: I rescued a tort from a bad situation and have no idea what kind
: it is or how to care for it. It is about five inches long. It's
: shields have a dark spot in the center, then are surrounded in a
: yellowish brown color, with brown rings around the yellow. There
: are yellow spots on the top of the shell between the other
: pattern. It has a lot of yellow towards the bottom and it's
: plastron is mostly yellow with some brown. It's legs and neck are
: mostly yellow also. It's head is grey. It's anterior scutes are
: elongated and almost flat. It resembles a Bell's Hinged in body
: type, but is not the color of all the pictures I have looked at.
: In one article I read about one from a different region of Africa
: with a lot of yellow. What are some other distinguishing features
: of these guys? Does anyone have any good links on bell's? Thanks
: for the help.
