pyramiding in sulcatas?

I have a trio, and they are all a year or under, but my concern is to avoid pyramiding as much as possible. Any advice? I know adequate UVB is important, as well as calcium/phosphorus balance. I do have a very good book about sulcatas, the only one I've been able to find, but there is only one line mentioning pyramding. Any assistance would be very appreciated!
