I'm with Tom and your vet. I was surprised, but relieved that my vet didn't want to automatically push meds, but wanted her to fight it on her own. Increased temps can help.
My tort was sick back in April.
She loved basking to the point where her shell was very, very warm to the touch.
With increased temps, hydration is a concern as well. Have water available and you might want to soak her once or twice a day, but be sure you dry her off completely each time and keep her out of any drafts.
Be sure she keeps eating and keep her activity level up if you can. The more she is up walking around the more the system will be up to fight the infection.
Mine perked up considerably when she got outside.
Get her as much natural sunshine as you can, but bring her in if it gets cool or windy.
Even if she naps or goes to the partial shade, let her remain outside as long as possible.
If she becomes inactive, her system won't fight the infection. Watch her closely and if she doesn't make improvements, has considerable trouble breathing or worsens in a weeks time, go back to the vet for medication.
