Yup, everyone is entitled to an opinion. Unfortunately there are those that feel that everyone has to agree with their opinion. I do not. I do ask that my opinion be respected though as I would respect those of others. What I post is food for thought, nothing more.
To answer your question though the two most commonly used drugs Flagyl and Panacure are pretty strong stuff that can wipe out gut flora which leads to other problems. If you keep tortoises outdoors and you don't live in the desert the tortoise will eventually get worms or nematodes. If left untreated and the tortoise is healthy nothing should happen. Flagelletts is the same scenario. With tortoises kept outdoors you can usually find these among other crawlies in a fecal. Again this is within reason.
