what a nice story and at last one with a happy ending.

I'm taking care of a very sick little Russian tortoise. I'm babysitting this recent WC import while the owner is on vacation.
She is a very sick little girl, unable to walk, shuffle or move at all.
She can move her head and tail and does wiggle her legs when being tube fed, but that's it.
It is heartbreaking to see her sit there all day, while my healthy tortoises come running for their food and gobble it up.

A few weeks ago she was free, happy, healthy and wild.
Now she sits waiting to die in a strange and frightning new world.
I really hope that slowly she will recover and live a decent life, like your box turtle.
But don't hold out too much hope.
Thanks for the nice story, glad that little one made it.
