I would not suggest de-worming
: blindly or as a routine because I know it hits

I agree Niki that blind worming isn't something I want to do either. Why do it unless it is necessary...
On a side note, my desert torts are outside 24/7 and are parasite free. You are right that they can pick up something, but I don't stress about it.
There is no one worming them in the wild, so if I don't stay on schedule, I am not that worried.
