i am in florida. i have 5 russans. i also have 5 imported redfoots, 4 sulcatas, 1 leopard tort., and 1 eastern box. i just got my russians about a month ago. out of all my torts., i've never seen any acclimate so quickly. i know it's to early to tell how they will do long term, but these things haven't given me one problem. they were shy for the first day or two but within 2 weeks, every one of them was eating right from my hand. i was told they don't like much humdity, but it's rained twice since i've had them and they sat right in the rain and ate. i wormed them as soon as i got them, maybe that helped. i don't see these animals giving me any problems.
by the way, their outdoors in florida w/ 80-95% humidity
