The bulb I mentioned is the active UV heat bulb. As far as the growth rate goes I will have to admit it is rather fast. As to if this is harmful or not I'll keep yall posted. I feed it once every other day two hands full of mixed store bought greens and CaCO3 ad lib. It has water at all times and cuttle bone at all times. It is kept on carpeting. Temps are 75 to 120 F.
