i think i'll go ahead and try the lights. i like the fact that they can plug into a regular light socket. just my opinion, but you really ought not to have your tank quite that hot. 95 is about the highest you should go. can cause liver and kidney problems if the heat is too high. if you have a healthy tort though, can't argue with that, but it's something you might want to consider.
