It was believed that the Cananites(offspring of Cain)were dark skinned.There are people who thought the the African "race" came from this line. I do not agree. They were mostly wipped out by the flood.

Some of Noahs children were darker skinned as well.

I think Noah saved the Sulcata so he could have a nice foot rest.
