HI. I have most of my guys in LARGE shirt-box type containers in a warm room. The only problem is that I have been unable to find a safe under "tank" type heating device, but by far the best light/ heat source are the ones made by Zoo-med that have the full spectrum bulb AND two sockets for heat lights. I use one incandesent socket and the full-spectrum light during the day, and one incandesent socket with a "night" light for heat in the evening. All the lights have their own power switches, so this hood needs 3 electrical outlets. It's kinda costly, but worth it IMHO. I position them diagonally across the container, so it does allow for gradient temps.
