Hey there. Well for the common snappers I have all the stuff you said except for the heater. I don't have a heater in the tank. And I have a fake I'm not sure what it's suppose to be but it's big and they can get underneath it. They hide under it. It sits on three legs one big leg and 2 smaller ones and it's low. Also I have a rock which part of it is higher up and they get under that. Any ways yeah 13 will be alot to handle when they get bigger. And the creek that the mother probably came out of because that's the only body of water close by, but the water level in this creek is only a couple inchs and it run's between houses in a neighborhood. I would perfer to let them go either in the swamp that's about an hour or so away or the lake right up the street from my place. By the way my friend he lives about half an hour from me. He doesn't live right down the street. But thanks for your info.
