Similarities-
-both nocturnal
-both get about 8 inches
-both geckos
-both breed easily in captivity
-both are even tempered and allow handling

Differences-
-cresteds require moderate humidity all the time, leos only need a humid hide box
-cresteds dont need heat lights, and leos do
-cresteds need a vertically oriented cage, while leos need a horizontally oriented one
-cresteds are a better display in my honest opionion, due to the colors. Sure leos come in different morphs, but none can match a good cresteds (in my opionion, please dont flame me for it :)

Thats all i can think of at the moment, hope it helps!

:could someone compare crested to leos for me. i really love leos, and i would like to start with cresteds. i dont need anyone to tell me the eyelid & toes stuff either. just in like temperment, and ease of care etc.
