The guy that I got him from said he would refund my money, but if he got the crested back, he was going to put him down, and if this guy has a chance, and someone can get him to a vet that will see reptiles, then that would be great. I had someone contact me and say that their vet had treated cresteds like this in the past, and his vet also raises geckos. I feel he will do alright during the shipping, as I have NEVER had problems with shipping cresteds. I clean cages daily as well as his "wound" and I hope it is not infected. If the vet nearest me was going to be in sometime this week, I would keep him, but it will be two weeks, and I am tired of making this little gut wait. I have serveral cresteds at this time and all are in great health. I have nursed several back to health that have been ill, and this is the only crested I have not had a chance to get to a vet when needed. I handle all of my cresteds on a daily basis, and, even though I breed them, they are all treated as family pets and are shown just as much, if not more, love than the average dog. If something comes up and a vet can see him very soon, I will keep him, but if not, he will have to find a new home. Thank you for your concern.
