Crested male eating urates? What's going on??

I have caught my crested male eating his urates a couple of times. I do see them around the terrarium so he isn't eating all of it. I thought maybe he was Dehydrated, so I gave him some pedalyte (sp?). Nothing has changed. Fecal has been done and I am using Para-Zap too.
Do you know what it could be?
