I too have seen multiple copulations, but usually only within the first couple of days. Afterwards the male some how “knows” she is gravid and tends to just plain ignore her until she lays another clutch, upon which he pursues her again. Crested geckos def have the ability to retain sperm. My females are only paired up with a male for 1-3 months, after which the male is removed. I remove them so I can make sure they are getting all the nutrition they need while producing eggs. Anyway despite the absence of the male they continue to lay right up till Sept, after introducing them around March. I wonder if all species of rhac show this ability, esp. the live bearing ones...hmmmm
