:I bought my retic 19 years ago for $125. I'm looking for a male for her, before she gets too old to breed. I've been perusing the classifieds off an on now but I'm just flabbergasted by the prices...some people ask $800, others $2250 for a 4 foot snake! My gosh!! Do people actually pay that much for large snakes?!?

:It's been my experience that those that have them don't part with them, or can't find a home for them if they want to...the zoo wont even take them for free. Seeing these prices, showing a market this steep; I'm just amazed. Is this normal?? Or are these people being greedy?? :)
