you can feed it turtle hatchling food. the regular ones were to bigfor mine

you can also try romaine lettuce, but they may not eat it yet

others will come around with more ideas...I don't remember all that I fed them

the rule of thumb for the water is double the width of it's shell 1-2 inches maybe


when mine were babies I had part of my tank rocks with no water...so they could get out of the water easy....then as they gre I raised the water level

they do need water at any age...they only eat under water
