I've seen albino black rats for 60$. I got mine as an adult, but the word finicky is not in his vocabulary. After his previous owners fed him mice for 10 years, he took his first rats without blinking an eye.
: : Hi, I have corn snakes, and I saw a beautiful little 2002 albino Black Rat for sale for $100. I was wondering if that is a good price and also whether or not they are finicky eaters. Thanks!
: Hm, my only small black rat (16") was a freshly WC, great eater. Once she smelled it she would strike, looked awesome! Of course, I had to present the head first, otherwise she'd grab the middle and just sit there for a while (like my ball python, took her 30 minutes to eat a fuzzy-- she's a 2 ft snake). I love black rats, I think they're a very good snake for almost anyone. I couldn't answer you on the price, though.
