: Hi, I have corn snakes, and I saw a beautiful little 2002 albino Black Rat for sale for $100. I was wondering if that is a good price and also whether or not they are finicky eaters. Thanks!
Hm, my only small black rat (16") was a freshly WC, great eater. Once she smelled it she would strike, looked awesome! Of course, I had to present the head first, otherwise she'd grab the middle and just sit there for a while (like my ball python, took her 30 minutes to eat a fuzzy-- she's a 2 ft snake). I love black rats, I think they're a very good snake for almost anyone. I couldn't answer you on the price, though.
