The other really important part to get off are the eye spectacles, if they don't come off you could have an eye infection on your hands.
Everything else is negligible, but as a general rule if the animal is shedding in small pieces and having a rough time of it, add as much humidity as possible in the manners specified by everyone below, and always take off the old skin as soon as possible if the snake doesn't do it themselves.
