I think you're right about your rat snake having mixed blood. It looks like it could have corn or maybe Pituophis blood. Maybe it's just an unusually patterned, chunk-headed ratsnake. If you could get some better belly shots, that would help in IDing it. I've currently got 6 snakes in my dorm room including a pair of 6'+ Taiwan beauties and a pair of 5' Russian Rats (and a 6' room mate). Nice snake! Later.
