Odd, isn't it, that taking direct action would be construed as harrassment, if it is what is necessary to protect the helpless? Maybe you missed my emphasis, that he be sure of the facts, and that he obtain proof of those facts, before embarking on such a course.

: I suggested Brian go in and discuss the issues with the manager. You should investigate the reasons from the pet stores view point before taking some of the actions you suggest. If you don't know first where they're coming from, the actions you suggest can be construed as harrassment. If you go in and come to the point that this pet store is a slum lord, then yes do the actions you suggested. Just my 1 1/2 cents.
