Black rat

I have a WC black rat also from just south of Louisville. It looks just like yours. Mine is probably 18" long, and was born this last summer.

: The bottom two pics were taken after shed and represent actual color. The backroud reminds me of a charcoal corn. What do you think? It is a w/c caught from northern kentucky.
