Anything is only worth what the buyer and seller agree it's worth, and if you are satisfied with your purchase then the snake is worth that to be in your collection.
: As for myself, I would instead find a breeder and buy a hatchling. You will not only get a better animal all around, but with this species you will get to enjoy watching their amazing growth rate and take pleasure in raising it yourself.
: It's up to you though, and what you will be happy with.
