I have had two male Russians together for the last 2 years with no problems whatsoever. I have recently separated them though as I have introduced a female Korean into my collection.
I now have a male Russian in with the female Korean and will mate her with the other Russian who is in his own viv next year.
I separated the males as I didnt want her in with the male I want to mate her with and was concerned that the two males may fight once you introduce a female into the equation.
As far as I am aware though ( Correct me if I am wrong ) It is usually fine to have a male and X number of females, All males or All females.
A friend of mine happily keeps a male grey and a male corn in the same viv with no apparent difficulties.
If you are thinking of doing this, I would suggest that the snakes you are putting together have a thorough vetinary check-up before you do so... as is often stated, if one is ill then the others will probably get it too.
That's my tuppenys worth anyway :)
