their history? Are these the grey phase that I hear occur in the Franklin Mountains of West Texas, or is something completely different? If they are different, who collected/bred the first ratsnake to carry this trait in captivity? I have also heard of them being referred to as axanthic transpecos ratsnakes. Does this mean that if the gene was bred into the albino line of transpecos ratsnakes that "snow" transpecos rats would be produced? If so, the albino subocs have been around for at least 5 years now, wouldn't that just give us only a few more years before the first "snow" suboc is produced? Or has one already been produced? Also, it appears as if most of the Silver subocs that I have seen photos of carry the "blonde" suboc pattern. Is anyone breeding Silver subocs of the "normal" pattern?
