Hey Terry,
No problem there simple mistake. Yeah robc and I collected ~20 this last summer and took them in for blood work, measurements, scale count, etc, then we released all but three:) To tell you the truth I moved out of the area so I have not been in contact with them. I believe the two of them were going to continue collecting data to make a stronger case and publish a paper. I dont know how that has come along, but I believe I will be back next season to help collect some more for blood work.
And yes, he is definatley at least as aggressive as the meanest snake I have owned, and I love Tx rats lol. They really are beautiful, even more so in person.
here is a pic of the biggest female we recorded 44" she is colored a little different, and has some dust on her head:)

: Hi Travis - I made a post on the thread regarding my Taxonomy Question. I said you and someone else had sent some sheds to Dr Vaughan to do some DNA tests. I just read a more recent post of yours where you state that you and Robc had sent some snakes for blood work. I wanted to point out my error. I had read a post awhile back and thought it was sheds not actual snakes. I apologize. I am very interested in knowing how that is going and I love that picture by the way. The meanest snake you ever had?
