Hey Terry,
I think i might be able to help you out on both accounts. I do plan on breeding the trio of the Tx corns (I was the only one to keep any). In fact I just gave them there last meal before I put them down for the winter. I was also debating on whether or not to breed a pair of normal Tx rats that I have. You said that a guy had some wild caught Tx corns from between austin and houston? I was under the impression that brazos county was about as far west as they went.
Hey send me an e-mail if you are interested or have any more questions travisgrasha@hotmail.com

: Hi Travis - Thanks for understanding and the update on the research. Is anyone going to breed the ones that were kept? I would love to get a pair of Texas locale guttata. I got a trio of hatchling Kisatchies this year. The male breeder is a w/c from about 3 miles inside the Kisatchie National Forest and the female breeder is an F1. There was a gentleman who had a clutch of "Texas corns" he called them that came from a locale between Austin and Houston. He had to make a quick sale of his collection and sold the clutch of eggs or I was supposed to get a pair of hatchlings. If you know where I can get a pair or trio, I would appreciate it. I'm also looking for a pair of normal Texa Rats. Good luck
