I like both Baytril and Amikacin for treating UR's in snakes. I believe that Baytril is considered to be somewhat safer than Amikacin (i.e. less nephrotoxic) but perhaps slightly less effective.

My non-scientific observation is that Amikacin is more effective for 'stubborn' UR's.
