Sounds like fun - still always nice to have one feisty number in your collection I reckon.
I've had most of my stuff since hatchlings and though I don't handle my stuff much most of them have tamed down to the point where they don't really strike ever. That said, I've got a male ridleyi who is very honest and bites every time.
The radiateds are cool - mine are yearlings and are very fast and have great defensive postures like yours. I've also got some helena who are similar in many ways.
I'm sure there's a linkage somewhere to taeniura as well, as my ridleyi exhibits the same defensive posture as the radiateds...? One for the taxonomists amongst us...
