At least you don't have to worry about snakes getting loose and polluting the environment somehow, haha! I hope the black rats in Ontario are still hanging in there. They are almost extinct in Michigan, as far as I can tell, but it's a couple hundred mile drive for me to look for them. Terry.
: Because that's the only province there is a wild population. Around the Kingston / Ottawa Valley area to be exact, I caught a HUGE 5 footer in Smith Falls about 13 years ago, you'd swear from a distance somebody had lost their pet Indigo he was THAT black!! Pretty easy to handle as well for a wild Obseleta.
: I live in Newfoundland where there are no native snakes @ all. My idea of field herping is when one of my snakes escapes in the recroom :-)
