Soe, I'm not exactly sure of the exact locale of my longissima. They are supposed to have originated from someone in Russia, however they look similar to the Ukraine snakes in the "Ratsnake Bible" which of course is adjacent to Russia and snakes from this general area may look similar. I have situal also, Croatian and Turkish aniamls. I thought they would slow down feeding this summer, however they did not and feed quite voraciously throughout the season. They seem to be more of a "heat loving" animal though.
