I have a cb01 alb. yellow rat that has been doing great and I'm attempting to "pump it up" to size quickly. It's been eating every 2-3days and growing well. It may be due to overheating with this recent heat wave but it regurged its last meal and is doing a little "twisting" while being held. Its alert and not in death throws or anything, but it was acting almost like there was an obstruction in the stomach aft. I palpated and placed in room temp water and did sqeeze out some normal looking fecal material. I'm just wondering if this an after effect of regurging or if its a congenital condition that I did not notice before. Maybe it just needs a alka-seltzer from its hard night last night. LOL. Anyone else with similar experiences??Am I just being paranoid? Thanks in advance for the help.
