Keeping wc imported Goynosomas alive and thriving is a difficult task (long term). They are famous for doing moderately well for some time then "crashing" in a very short period of time.
I have in fact "talked" to Chris at length about this. It is my humble opinion that Goynosomas do not need as much humidity day-to-day as current literature suggests. I made the initial mistake of taking all I read for granted and kept them warm and humid - this lead to a persistent upper resp. problem that killed two before I could get a handle on it.
Optimally I feel they would be best suited if kept in a set-up similar to that of a Jackson's Chameleon - keep it semi-damp but have plenty of airflow. They also have slow metabolisms in regards to digestion and need only be fed every 10-12 days. I could go on and on..I've got lots of "sweat equity" invested in my group - E-mail me with specific questions and i'll try my best. Bill
