I hate to answer a question with a question, but should they eat more than once a week?
I'm not sure about little ones, but my adults would never eat that often.
I do have some brand new hatchlings, and I'm only planning to feed them every ten to fourteen days.
If I should be feeding more often than that please someone let me know.
P.S. How old is your rat?
