Chinese King Rat Snake?

Hi,

I just took in a ratsnake with the above name. I can't find anything online about it. I'm told it's mentioned in the TFH book about Rat Snakes, but I don't have that one. Can anyone enlighten me more about it? The one I took in is well over 7' long, and thicker than my wrist. Not terribly keen on being handled or even viewed from up close, either, but has not struck at me (yet). I understand that he's been in captivity several years, as this same pet store had him originally 2-3 years ago, sold him, then took him back. Ideas? Please e-mail responses, as I don't check here often.
